Rhodes

It's nice to see how Greece has the same high-level hospitality. I cannot express the pleasure in saying "Kalimera!" even after eight years of travelling to different islands in Greece. Rhodos or Rodos is an island that awaits everyone with open arms. Filled with hotels and houses of all kinds of colours, with hospitality that is hard to beat and historical sites worth seeing, it will surprise you from every angle and place you least expect. Who knew that at one of the highest points on the island you'd find peacocks and get a feather from them as a souvenir? Who knew you could eat authentic Italian pizza in Rhodes from a local taverna owned by a family from Italy? Now that I have left I can say that I have become emotionally attached to Rhodes and Greece and I will/we will definitely return next year perhaps to a different island or why not the same one?
