Brașov

One sunny day we decided to pack our bags and go somewhere. In less than 24 hours we had everything ready: the itinerary (see below), the trains we were going to take, our accommodation, etc.

We stayed for one night at the 3* Hotel Coroana Brasovului and were impressed with the room and the breakfast included. We made the reservation on booking, as there were no rooms left on the hotel website.

We caught good weather, and even a celebration that we learned about on Tiktok "Junii Brașovului", men standing on horses announcing "Christ is risen!" while the audience responded with "Truly he is risen". All sights are mentioned in the itinerary (see below).

Monika Elena Tanase and I highly recommend Restaurant Gustări in the Sfatului Square for the best food and prices!

Also, Brasov is a tourist area, we spoke English a couple of times to help other tourists find their way around, not to mention how many other languages were present.

All in all, I came away with a very high opinion of Brasov, a model of a city that promotes the idea of "This is how it can be!" and we'll definitely be back!

P.S. If you want to travel to Brasov learn German! No kidding! There are many signs with German writing, even in the train station, to give you an example "Achtung!" means "Attention!".
